Originally from Yarrawonga in country Victoria, Ely moved up to Brisbane seven years ago to pursue his career in AFL. In November 2018, he was drafted to the Brisbane Lions, which sparked the move to the sunshine state. Ely developed a passion for property in 2020, and 12 months later he purchased his first investment property with the support of Edwards & Mills. Having enjoyed the process so much, he developed a strong interest in the property industry and experienced firsthand the value of a great Buyers Agent. Alongside that passion, Ely brings the strong work ethic, discipline, and determination he developed during his AFL career—qualities he now uses to guide and support clients. After successfully owning and operating CrossFit Richmond and managing her own property investment and renovation projects, she transitioned into the short-term rental market—running a boutique Airbnb business in Melbourne for two years.
